2012-08-23 14:44:25   eyemeiz   The worst room ever. Received a morning call from the staff saying that we had to bank in cash in order to secure a room (Which hotel still does this anyway?) The room is not cheap at all, priced at RM388 for junior family room+6 wristband+breakfast for 4 pax. We were given a room in Block B- smelly, fulled of cockroach, old, and it was not clean yet when we arrived. Water pressure was extremely low that they should just shut the water host. We requested to change to a better room, but we were given another crappy room at Block C (bird's nest everywhere!) The photos in their website are misleading! Never ever gonna go back to this crappy resort. Date of stay: 2012 Aug

2012-06-17 13:00:41   LWS   stayed 3D 2N. family studio is bad. living room no air cond. 2nd toilet dirty. corridor light out of order. not fit even after I make a complain to the reception. free breakfast was of cheap quality. roti canai was harden. The outdoor water park was good. But operate up to 7pm only. no extention of time on school holidays. Our room was made by housekeeping on the second morning, without us in the room. This is not good. We never ask for a housekeeping. Luckly the housekeeper, whoeven she was, was an honest person. Good bless her. My wallet, handphone, PS2, which was left in plain sight was not taken. But horror to think what would happen if it was. Holiday would be ruined. Date of stay: 2012 Jun

I stay at Block C and near to my room, the lift was break down and I had to use the staircase to go to 1st floor. The nightmare start from here, the staircase & passive to my room was so dirty & smelly like the dead body. The room still using key type to open, no security at all. The stranger can easily penetrate the room if forgot to lock the door. Room kitchen only provide kettle plus 4 cups. No spoon, cloth, cleaning solution and supplementary coffee/tea. Room maintenance even worse, toilet door lock spoiled, toilet seat damaged, shower hose leakage, drainage choke up, no towel & soap/shampoo provided. Call Front Desk only delivered towels & shampoo & soap. Room facilities like TV bad receiving, fan turning like the helicopter & air-cond. really cool can kill you and all can’t be controlled. Breakfast was getting worse year by year. Nothing to choice, all can food or frozen food, no orange juice but sky juice, no fresh milk only package milk. Anyway, my children really enjoy the water park facilities and I thing that's the reason holding me back every year to here. Date of stay: 2011 Nov

2011-07-28 15:01:42   nurulkz   stayed for one night only. the big pool and fake beach was awesome! my son having so much fun there.. i. having a buffet dinner at terrace hotel cost me at RM35 per head.. but still ok because the food was nice and the staff there was so friendly.. entertainment by TBR staff for guest on that night, draq queen was so funny, singing and show by awesome aerobatic kiddos from china. but im really dissapointed only at one part and that was hotel room. the room was old, rusty kettle, full of dust, bedsheet, floor, everythings look old and dirty. im feeling not comfortable at all sleeping for the whole night. the nearest lift was under maintenance and cannot be use. we have to walk very far to get to another lift. it's become a problem to us with one kids and on baby at 4mths old. im requested for the management to upgrade and ensure the maintenance of the hotel and room expecially. keep clean and tidy for us to feel comfortable. Flies everywhere, even when I eat breakfast at the restaurant has those flies buzzing around. For the room, has some kind of smell and air-condition dripping water. 2010-09-21 08:19:04   mimiee76   My trip on 17-18 sept10 to Tiara Beach Resort PD is very3 bad. The toilet & swimming pool are lichen, dirty & not fully organized. The room was smelly. There are many houseflies everywhere & surprising has many houseflies in restaurant café too. Our breakfast are not provided at 8.00 am for the reason customer are < 15 persons and waiting for Alacate food about 1 hour. The manager of the restaurant is very rude & not friendly. This is the last visiting & not recommend to my friend & I’m not surprise if the TBR will close one day. Date of stay: 2010 Sep

The facilities is recklessly out of proportion.Invaluable money spend!!!.The room rate is damn expensive compared to the overall services with low maintenance imposed.Tiara should review its rate to be more competitive. Charges imposed are high and expensive.Its not an exciting place to be with family as the environment and atmosphere is just simply ordinary...The management should revive its reputation by restructuring the overall image by engaging and independent consultant to be in the market share.Always look beyond expectation to subdue whatever flaws and weaknesses to retain more trust from your visitors Date of stay: 2010 Apr

2010-03-29 18:27:14   manu_anshu   The resort was in a bad state. The rooms were very small and poorly managed. Staff was helpful though but the resort was not worth visiting. Water park was filthy, furniture in the rooms was broken, we had to upgrade to a family suite deluxe which was lil better but ended up paying extra to them. The bathrooms were too small. The buffet was also horrible. I would not like to visit tiara again. There was no beach and the resort is named Tiara Beach Resort. I would not recommend any one to visit this resort. Security was good as the reception was outside the apartment area, minimising non-guest entrance ... Apt was somehow not to expectation as only both room equipped with air-cond and not the living room ... no remote control for both air-cond unit and tv ... tv's reception was very poor ... no astro ... Main bedroom's bathroom was smelly throughout stay ... Water pressure was low, toilet was not really clean. The room was dusty. They should clean the room often. There was blood stain on the mattress. Gross.. Food was terrible. The chicken tasted lousy. Country view - bad.. i got country view, was told that any reservations thru agents are country view only.. unable to upgrade - reali bad.. checked in was told room is ready, bt they'r still cleaning hence its not clean at all.. Room is BAD, too many insects & very sandy & dusty... toilet in room bad, bt water pressure low & problem with the heater.. Water was yellowish - bad.. Cabinets r smelly - very bad.. Air con unable to adjust - very bad... breakfast was ok bt i reali hate the fried noodles.. Drinks run low very quickly.. Staffs shd top-up as soon as its halfway tru.. Also run out of sugar sachets... resort staffs r friendly & helpful - good.. Whole pool were great.. Overall, 50-50.. will not go back... Date of stay: 2010 Feb

2010-02-16 16:17:36   dieana_my   Have been 3 times to the hotel and intended to go again soon. Previous visit was good as the kids all love the water park though the rooms was so-so. But after reading all the recent comments, feels like not going already. Can't blame them for not able to keep up the resort to standard, knowing that the company managing it ie. D'Tiara Corp. is having massive financial difficulty as my friend who worked with the company before have to stop work as they could not pay the salary. However, they should do something to the resort, at least get investor to maintain it as it was the only resort in PD having such facilities, can say that the theme park is very-very nice. It will be a waste to loose a once good theme park. Date of stay: 2010

Room was generally clean but the facilities was under par (bath heater water pressure was low, rusted boiler, snower TV due to poor reception etc..). The water park facility was good for 2D/1N stay but not sufficient for longer stay. The location of the hotel was too remote and downside was no beach front & sea view (for a beach resort). Breakfast was too lousy and limited variety available. Date of stay: 2009 Nov
